Welcome to the Occasional Flowers blog. I love arranging flowers, and after doing several weddings for family and friends, I decided to make my hobby a business. Hydrangea wedding

It was such a pleasure working on this wedding.  The bride loves hydrangeas, so we used them as much as possible.  Her colors were a rich raspberry pink, and black and white damask, a very classy combination.
This bright and cheerful bouquet contains orange and pink roses, hydrangeas, calla lilies, orange carnations, and green mini cymbidium orchids.
The bridesmaids carried simply elegant bouquets of pink hydrangeas.  The groomsmen wore calla lily boutinierres, while the groom's boutinierre was accented by a green orchid.

This arch turned out so beautiful.  It took my assistant and me about 2 and a half hours to put it together, but it was well worth it!  The arch is filled with hydrangeas, pink and orange roses, green spider mums, orange carnations, and hot pink alstromeria.

I love this design of the petals, it looks so whimsical and romantic!

I am always so grateful when a photographer shares her work with me!  These beautiful pictures were taken by the very talented Katie Moeller with Katherine Nicole Photography.  Please contact her at (916) 847-5470 or e-mail her at katherinenicolephotography@gmail
