Welcome to the Occasional Flowers blog. I love arranging flowers, and after doing several weddings for family and friends, I decided to make my hobby a business. If you want flowers for your wedding or large event, just contact me at: occasional-karen@hotmail.com Please take a look at the pages on my blog, and enjoy the flowers I have designed for other couples!

Pinks at the Sacramento LDS Temple

The colors for this wedding were hot pink, black, and a touch of silver.  The bride carried a bouquet of light, medium, and dark pink roses, and white stephanotis with black pearls.
The groom wore a pink rose bottonhole, accented by two stems of stephanotis.  The groomsmen also wore pink roses accented by green hypericum berries. The bridesmaids carried pink rose bouquets with hints of green hypericum berry.

The centerpieces were 24 inch Eiffel tower vases topped with an arrangement of flowers including roses, alstromeria, carnations, and wax flower.
I certainly can't take credit for the beautiful cake, made by Courtney Buzzuto.  But I did make the topper of hot pink roses.
These are rose bud rings that I made for the young ladies who helped with the wedding.  Too cute!

I am always grateful when a photographer lets me use her work in my blog!  These photos were taken by Stephanie French
