Purple and white lilies

This wedding was such a pleasure to do.  The couple were wed in the Cathedral in downtown Sacramento, and then held the reception at the Masonic Temple on J St.  I never could have gotten all of this done if it weren't for my wonderful friend and assistant, Jennifer Mathews.

Isn't this a fantastic bridal party?  The groomsmen wore boutonnieres of purple calla lilies.  The bridesmaids carried round bouquets of white asiatic lilies, purple mini calla lilies, and carnations.

This photo shows off the beautiful bouquets, and also highlights one of the flower girls wearing a chaplet of purple matsumoto asters and purple misty.

The bride carried a cascade bouquet featuring white asiatic lilies, purple mini calla lilies, purple lisianthus, and alstromeria.  The cascade bouquet complimented the beautiful full skirt and long train on the gown.

The groom wore a classy boutonniere of two white mini calla lilies.

The pew markers were made of white asiaitic lilies and purple carnations and were accented with white satin ribbon.  Some of these markers were also used as centerpieces at the reception.

There were 36 tables at this reception.  20 of them were decorated with these glass cube vases filled with lilies, purple carnations, alstromeria, and yellow solidago.
The remaining 16 tables were decorated with these 24 inch eiffel tower vases.  They are topped with lilies, carnations, alstromeria, and purple misty.
